The Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated across the country today with due solemnity and religious fervor.
President Prof. Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed, Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia and Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina, in separate messages, greeted the nation on the eve of the Eid-ul-Azha. They prayed for peace and prosperity of the nation and the wellbeing of the Muslim ummah on the occasion.
The main Eid congregation was held at the National Eidgah.
