The U.S. military says it not aware of any American soldiers missing in Iraq, despite a claim by militants that they are holding one.
The U.S. military said there were no reports of missing soldiers -- hours after a group calling itself Mujahedeen Squadrons said it abducted a U.S. soldier and would kill him unless Iraqis held in U.S. prisons were freed in three days.
The claim, posted on an Islamist website, included a photograph of the alleged captive.
