Professor Shafiqur Rahman from the Department of Communications , Alcorn State University spoke of ethnic TV programs in the USA , including programs in Bengali.In an exclusive interview with VOA, Mr Rahman says that although all the programs do not meet the standarad which one expects , he is hopeful that these programs have helped the children of the ethnic communities to come closer to the land and culture of their parents.
