Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf says the country's military has destroyed a network of al-Qaida linked facilities including bomb-making sites and those that create propaganda videos and compact discs. Speaking to reporters in Islamabad, Mr. Musharraf said Pakistani forces have destroyed sanctuaries and broken the militants' communications system. He says al-Qaida is on the run in the mountains while Pakistan's military controls the valleys. In spite of the success he reported against al-Qaida's infrastructure, General Musharraf says he has no clue on the whereabouts of Osama Bin Laden. Earlier this month, American-funded television commercials began airing in Pakistan, reminding viewers of multi-million dollar rewards for Osama Bin Laden and other terror suspects.
