Value Added Tax or VAT will be added from 1st of April in 21 states in India. To protest the VAT the Federation of West Bengal Trade Associations have called for Bandh for three days beginning on Wednesday. West Bengal Finance Minister Asim Dasgupta is a staunch supporter of VAT.
