One of the greatest English-language poets of the 20th entury is undoubtedly William Butler Yeats. The Irish poet, dramatist and prose writer was born in 1865 in Dublin. Yeats received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923. He was quite moved by Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali. He wrote the introduction to Gitanjali.
