Train Blast in Southwestern Pakistan Wounds 5

A bomb explosion aboard a passenger train in Pakistan's troubled southwestern Baluchistan province has wounded at least five people, two of them seriously.

Local officials say the bomb, planted in a train toilet, detonated as the Lahore-bound Chiltan Express was passing through Aab-e-Gum, a mountainous area south of the provincial capital, Quetta. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the blast.

Similar attacks have been blamed on ethnic Baluch tribesmen demanding a bigger share of the region's natural resources and jobs.
