Twenty-two people died in two separate road accidents in the Tangail District of Bangladesh on Tuesday. According to police and witnesses ninety people were injured.
A Dhaka-bound passenger bus from Gaibandha broke railing of Pouli Bridge in Kalihati of Tangail. Seventeen people were killed on the spot and 40 others were injured.
Meanwhile, a Dhaka-bound night coach from Kurigram at Karatipara had a head on collision with a truck on the Tangail-Dhaka highway. Five people were killed on the spot and 42 others were injured.
