ABM Sadeq , a journalist from Chittagong , in an interview with VOA Bangla says that this time the city corporation election has been politically immensely important. People from older generation say that they have not seen such enthusiasm and excitement in the election. They expect a huge number of voter turn out in the election. The incumbent mayoral candidate from the opposition and the contestant mayoral candidate from four-party ruling alliance both have assured developments of the city if they are elected to the office of the mayor.
