A double suicide bombing near a northern Iraqi military base has killed at least five people. Saturday's blast occurred in the town of Sinjar. The attack came as Iraqi forces plan to seal off Baghdad and pour more than 40-thousand troops into the city in a massive military sweep aimed at rooting out insurgents. U.S. forces will aid in the operation. U.S. military officials said Saturday a joint U.S.-Iraqi operation in the western Iraqi city of Haditha has successfully disrupted terrorist activities in the region. Fourteen terror suspects have been killed and more than 30 others arrested. Many weapons have also been seized. Also Saturday, Iraqi police say the bodies of 10 Shi'ite pilgrims have been found near the Syrian border. Police say the victims were tortured and shot.
