India's external affairs minister is visiting Norway - a trip aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Natwar Singh will be hosted by his Norwegian counterpart, Jan Petersen.
Mr. Singh's Oslo agenda includes a meeting with top officials, including King Harald and Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik. He also will attend the first meeting of the Joint Commission of Cooperation between Norway and India.
The commission was formed in 2004 to boost economic and political ties between the two nations. The commission also focuses on strengthening bilateral bonds in trade, energy, environment, technology, culture and education.
