Bush Returns to Washington: Will Sign Condolence Book for London Victims

President Bush has returned to Washington from Scotland, where he attended the Group of Eight summit overshadowed by Thursday's terrorist bombings in London. Mr. Bush is scheduled to visit the British Embassy in Washington to sign a condolence book for the victims of the four blasts. His visit to the embassy comes hours after Vice President Dick Cheney met privately with British Ambassador David Manning at the diplomatic mission and signed the condolence book. President Bush also expressed condolences Thursday outside the G-8 summit meetings, saying the war on terror continues. He pledged that the perpetrators of the London attacks will be brought to justice.
