Since the resignation of Mamata Bandapaddhaya from Indian Lok Sabha last week questions have been raised about the manners in which she resigned as well as the way she behaved in the Parliament. The Lok Sabha speaker has said that Mamata’s resignation has not fulfilled the official requirements for such resignations. Mamata Bandhapaddhaya , on the other hand, has said that if she is not allowed to speak in the parliament she is will not withdrawher resignation letter. The leftists have strongly criticized her behavior in the parliament and the Hindu nationalist group have offered there support to Mamata while the ruling congress are cautious about any criticism against her.
