Bangladesh government has formed a three-member high-powered committee to probe the deal with Canadian Niko Resources Limited. The committee will look into the reasons for declaring Chhatak, Feni and Kamta gas fields as abandoned and whether there was any flaw in the agreement with Niko for developing the Chhatak, known as Tengratila, and Feni fields.
