A Pakistani military fighter jet has crashed during a routine training flight in the southern part of the country.
An Air Force spokesmen Air Commodore Sarfraz Ahmed Khan told reporters in Islamabad the French-made Mirage aircraft came down on Thursday near the town of Badin, east of Karachi.
The spokesman said the pilot had ejected safely and there were no reports of injuries on the ground. He said technical reasons were responsible for the crash, but that an investigation is under way.
