Sheikh Hasina, the Leader of the Opposition in Bangladesh parliament reiterated her call for an international probe into the increasing militancy in Bangladesh. She blamed the government for not allowing FBI and other bodies to work independently in order to find out the perpetrators of crime. Sheikh Hasina yesterday said the prime minister's latest speech in parliament was aimed at 'saving the real perpetrators of the August 17 countrywide blasts'. Sheikh Hasina while addressing a press conference at Sudha Sadan was critical of Khaleda Zia, the Prime Minister for failing to curb terrorism in the country. Referring to Khaleda’s call for united efforts , Sheikh Hasina said that while Khaleda Zia was the opposition Leader she had attended the parliament for only 28 days in five years of AL government.
