Dr Shamsul Huda , the Professor of History in St Xavier’s University in New Orleans describes his ordeal during the Katrina . He says he was leaving the city along with another Bengali family when Katrina came in its full rage. Fortunately the house they took refuge in was unaffected but a neighboring house was smashed under four fallen trees. Dr Huda has this harrowing tale to tell.
