Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Khaleda Zia on Sunday expressed her optimism that the Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) would utilize its vast potentials for enhancing mutual cooperation among the member countries. She further hoped that the CIRDAP would also utilise its efforts for exploring possibilities and bringing benefits for the countries of the region. The Prime Minister was inaugurating the inaugural session of the 15th regular meeting of CIRDAP Governing Council (GC) in the International Conference Centre (ICC). Ministers, delegates and observers from 14 member countries of CIRDAP are participating in the two-day meeting, which is being held in Dhaka after a lapse of almost twelve years.
