The troops of Border Security Force (BSF) has seized smuggled goods worth 6 million 300 thousands rupees in Tripura, India.
The BSF troops under the Tripura-Cachar and Mizoram frontier has been running a special drive against smuggling on the border, during the period of September 1 to 30, 2005. As a result of these operations, the troops seized a sizeable quantity of contraband goods, narcotics, forest- produce etcetra. These seizures took place in the different areas of the border region in Tripura while being smuggled into Bangladesh and India.
