Bowing to pressure from within his party and the opposition, West Bengal Minister of State for Transport and Cottage and Small scale Industries Narayan Biswas(CPI-M) has resigned. Local courts in North Dinajpur had issued non-bailable warrants against Mr Biswas in connection with an old case of rioting and arson.
