Rescuers have so far recovered 17 bodies from the trawler that capsized in the river Meghna early Thursday. The sand-laden trawler with 33 labourers on board sank in the river at around 1:30am after it collide with a cargo vessel. All the 33 labourers were asleep during the incident.
