Timely supply of the textbooks to the students in class nine in 2006 has become uncertain since the proposed uni-track education system has been postponed.
The government now has to start all the formalities afresh after postponement of the proposed uni-track education system just 25 days before the new academic year.
Meanwhile, Education Minister M Osman Farruk yesterday told journalists at his office that the government will soon sit with the publishers for ensuring the timely availability of textbooks to the students.
