European and U.S. delegates to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna are working behind the scenes to broaden support for a draft resolution that would set the stage for possible sanctions against Iran.
A vote initially was scheduled for Friday.
Some of the countries on the 35-member governing board reported to be Cuba, Venezuela and Syria oppose the draft resolution. However, analysts predict that a majority of the agency's governing board will approve the resolution.
