Lack of Electricity Hampers Measles Vaccination Campaign in Bangladesh


Bangladesh government’s childhood measles campaign is being hampered by the electricity crisis in the country. The government planned to immunize 33-point-five million children against measles by March 16th.

The Bangladeshi measles vaccination campaign is internationally funded. Donors include the American Red Cross and the government of Japan.
