West Bengal state government on Monday issued a directive, ordering a blanket ban on graffiti, whether the property is public, private or corporate. However, CPI(M) state unit Secretary Anil Biswas said they will only abide by Election Commission’s directive. He said he had written to the EC and expects an answer soon.
