People of all walks of life have hailed the arrest of most wanted Islamist militant leader Abdur Rahman by law enforcers at his Sylhet hideout on Thursday. US, Britain, European Union and other nations welcomed the capture of JMB chief Shaekh Abdur Rahman. The Awami League and its front organizations however termed the arrest a "drama" by the government to convince the world community ahead of the next general elections.
