Indian Border Security Force ,BSF shot dead a Bangladeshi citizen on Bhutipukur border in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh on Saturday afternoon.
Official sources said a BSF patrol team opened fire on Abu Taleb ,35, when he was grazing cattle on a land near the border at about 2:00pm. He died instantly.
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) commander of 22 Rifles Battalion Lt Col Firoz said they have sent a letter to the BSF condemning the killing. Tension heightened in the area following the incidence
