Rosaline Costa, a human rights activist from Bangladesh, who was on a visit to USA says that the present situation in Bangladesh is very grim. She referred to rise of religious fundamentalism on the one hand and the high handedness of the RAB on the other.
Miss Costa blamed the government agencies for clearly violating the human rights and killing people. She criticized the government in Bangladesh for extra judicial killings. Rosaline does not believe that the government in Bangladesh is serious and sincere about curbing the religious extremists. The few arrests that they are making are more sort of a drama than anything else.
