Hasanul Huq Inu , the President of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) , one of the parties in the 14 party alliance says that the opposition is united against religious militancy , fundamentalism and the anti-liberation forces .
In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Service , Inu says that despite frustrations amongst people they are looking forward to brighter days ahead once Prime Minister Khaleda Zia and her government step down. The JSD leader says that though the opposition alliance has been trying their best to get the dialogue go ahead , the ruling party has not been serious about the dialogue at all and has nominated such persons in team who are not the policy makers .
He reiterated the opposition alliance’s refusal to sit and talk with the members of Jamate Islami who , he alleged , are linked to the Islamic militancy in Bangladesh.
