New debates have again erupted in Bangladesh about a possible investment by Tata , the Indian business conglomerate. The economists seem to be clearly critical about the issue.
On behalf of the National Committee to Protect Oil and Gas a round table conference was held on the issue. Anu Mohammad, an economist says that although Tata has wanted an assurance for getting gas for twenty years they want to pay only four dollars for each thousand cubic foot of gas.
However, the Advisor Ministry of Energy Mahmudur Rahman opposed the comments.
