The workers’ unrest which began at the readymade garment factories at the Export Processing Zone in Dhaka from 22 May has not totally died out. It is reported that since than 84 factories have been affected by the protests.
Although major demonstrations have been over , the protests in some factories still continue. In four factories of the EPZ , the workers have observed strike on Saturday. Even in the last one week , labor unrest has been seen in 15 factories of the EPZ area in Dhaka.
