Dr Kamal Hossain an eminent jurist and one of the prominent members of the 14 party
opposition alliance says that people in Bangladesh want a meaningful change in the caretaker government and electoral system in Bangladesh.
In justifying their demands Dr Hossain , in an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla Radio and TV says that people want honest persons to be elected in a fully functional parliament. Dr Hosssain says that people in Bangladesh want to be free from such elections which are controlled by money in millions and the terrorists.
Dr Kamal Hossain argues that if a free and fair election has to take place in Bangladesh, the head of the pre-election caretaker government should be neutral and acceptable by all parties. He adds that some flaws and faults have been identified in the election commission hence changes are required there as well.
