Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee has announced certain measures to deal with Maoist problems in West Bengal.
The state has sought two more battalions of Central paramilitary forces to tackle Maoists in West Midnapore, Purulia and Bankura districts in addition to the six companies already deployed there.
