West Bengal has become the second state after Gujarat to offer a bachelor’s degree in ayurvedic pharmacy. The Bengal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BIPS), a joint venture with the government’s health department, has launched this course.
Beginning July, 60 students will be selected through the Joint Entrance Examination, WBJEE for this course.
The degree will be offered by Jadavpur University.
