India and Bangladesh’s Working Group Meeting Ends

India and Bangladesh have agreed to hold annual meeting of joint secretaries to solve issues relating to the international boundary.

The decision was taken at the end of a two-day Joint-Secretary level meeting of the Bangladesh-India joint working group on border issues, the first such in four years.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed demarcation of 6.5 km of border, exchange of enclaves and territories in adverse possession as well as construction of boundary pillars.

Amir Khasru has more on the story.
