Scoffing at the Washington Post story headlined ‘A New Hub of Terrorism?’ written by Selig Harrison,the Chief of the fundamentalist Islamic party which is a partener in the ruling alliance said the report contains almost the same baseless information as are usually dished out by opposition leader Sheikh Hasina against Jamaat and the ruling 4-party alliance. Nizami also refuted Washington Post’s comments about Jamaat link with Harkatul Jihad or Al-Qaeda. He said the report tried to make controversial the Bangladesh army by making objectionable comments about some senior army officials.
