Venezuela is seeking support from Bangladesh for its candidacy for non-permanent membership at the UN Security Council (UNSC).
Special Envoy of the President of Venezuela and Minister of State for External Affairs Dr. Jenny Figueredo handed over a letter to Foreign Minister M. Morshed Khan at his office in Dhaka on Tuesday. A foreign ministry press release said the letter addressed to the Bangladesh Prime Minister sought Bangladesh support for the UNSC membership.
