The last session of parliament beginning Sunday might see an intense debate between the ruling four party alliance and opposition Awami League on electoral reforms while outside the parliament, possibility of a dialogue on the issue diminishes fast.
Lawmakers from both the ruling four-party alliance and AL are bracing themselves for one last chance to counter each other in the 8th Jatiya Sangsad . The BNP and its allies are likely to talk about the government's success in about five years and set out an argument against the proposals for reforms. On the other hand, the AL lawmakers, who will join the session on Sunday , plan to launch a tirade on the government for its 'failure to deliver' and seek to make out a case for the reforms agenda, sources said.
Suranjit Sen Gupta , the opposition leader and Barrister Moudud Ahmed , the law minister of the present government argue against each other's stand on the matters relating reforms.
