The Non-Aligned Movement was formed in 1961 during Cold War tensions between the Soviet Union and the United States. It has more than 100 nations including Bangladesh, India and Pakistan and not aligned with any major power bloc. Cuba is hosting the six-day annual summit in its capital, Havana.
