Advocate Alena Khan , the Executive Director of Bangladesh Manobadhikar Shongstha , a human rights organization , says that Shah Alam Babu who was charged with murder and jailed for a mistaken identity should be adequately compensated .
Ms Khan narrates the background of this story , how Sundor Babu , the real alleged murderer escaped this murder case , although he was also in jail on different charges , and an innocent Shah Alam Babu was about to go to gallows when her organization came forward and eventually Shah Alam got his deserved release from the prison.
In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla , Advocate Alena Khan said that this was a very crucial as well as a complicated issue. She said how tactfully she could identify Sundar Babu and the got Shah Alam released .
