A devastating fire gutted over 20 plastic factories and many houses in heavily congested Lalbagh area of old Dhaka yesterday.
At least 50 people including two firefighters were injured in the fire. Witnesses said it took three hours for the firefighters to douse the fire that started in a hide warehouse at Posta Nama at 12:45pm.
