The US Consul General in Kolkata Henry V Jardine has assured that the Visa process for the Indian citizens would be faster than it is now.
The consul general while speaking to the journalists in Kolkata said that a backlog of the interviews will be cleared by the end of this year. He said that previously the process for granting US Visa was very long.
He said that the US – India relationship is very cordial and he loves Kolkata. He hoped that after easing the Visa process , he expects that cultural and trade relationship will improve further.
