West Bengal is all set to have its first nuclear power station at Egra in East Midnapore and a decision in this matter is likely to be taken soon.
A nine member special delegation team of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India has been visiting the area.
The Chairman of the Corporation S K Jain and the members are scheduled to meet the Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee. Later, they will go back to New Delhi and take a final decision after discussions and review.
