President Bush To Visit Vietnamese Stock Market

President Bush is scheduled to stop at Vietnam's stock exchange on Monday as part of his visit to the country's economic center, Ho Chi Minh City.

After touring the Ho Chi Minh City Securities Trading Center, the president will meet with business leaders and participate in a briefing on avian flu.

He was greeted by cheering and waving crowds when he arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday after leaving the summit of Asian-Pacific nations in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi.

Later on Monday the president travels to Indonesia, where there have been several days of protests over the Bush administration's military presence in Iraq and Afghanistan.

At least 10 thousand people demonstrated against the president's visit in the capital, Jakarta, Sunday, calling President Bush a war criminal and terrorist.

The U.S. considers Indonesia an important ally in the fight against terrorism, which will likely be discussed during a meeting between Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Mr. Bush.

Indonesia has the largest population of Muslims of any country in the world.
