A Bangladeshi man held for years at the U.S. prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, has returned to Dhaka.
Police in Bangladesh say they are now interrogating the man, Mubarak Hussain Bin Abul Hashem.
The man's father told reporters his son had been studying at a madrassa in Pakistan before he lost touch with him. The father said he later learned from the Red Crescent Society that his son was being detained at Guantanamo Bay.
U.S. military officials have not commented on the release. Records indicate at least one other Bangladeshi man is still being held in the Guantanamo prison.
