The Awami League-led grand alliance ended a series of meetings on Tuesday night to decide whether to take part in the upcoming January 22 elections.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s formal declaration of an unanimous alliance decision is expected on Wednesday at a joint press conference.
It is speculated that the grand alliance decided to boycott the January 22 elections.
