Economist Dr. Akhtar Mahmood is a private sector development official from World Bank in Washington DC.
He is going to Bangladesh to start a new department for the World Bank, called “Investment Climate Fund.” The new office will work with government of Bangladesh and the business community to improve the business climate in Bangladesh.
Dr. Mahmood is also overseeing a project in Afghanistan.
