Principal Secretary of the Department for Co-operation, Nihar Ranjan Banerjee, on Tuesday served a legal notice to the Minister of that department, Rabindra Ghosh, demanding a public apology from him within 48 hours.
The notice also mentioned that if the minister failed to do so, Banerjee will file a defamation suit against him.
