Dr.Badiul Alam Majumder is the Director for Bangladesh Hunger Project and also the Secretary for Bangladesh Civil Society Group ' civil society for good governance ' or SHUJON .
He came to New York recently as a member of Bangladesh Team to attended UN Special session on 'Girl Children ' during this 'Women History ' month .
In an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla , he talked about empowerment of women, status of women in the society and also abuse of women from the the very childhood . Dr.Majumder also discussed the role of 'Shujan' in the context of current Bangladesh development in the areas of democratic changes.
