Shahriar Kabir is an eminent freelance journalist in Bangladesh who is also an uncompromising human rights activitist in the country. In 1971 he fought in the liberation war in Bangladesh and as the Head of Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee , he is committed to bring the War Criminals of Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971 to justice.
Shahriar is a humanist and he strongly believes in the separation of state and religion. He has voiced against religious fundamentalism and fanaticism.
